Vincenzo
Hello hello!
If you're a fan of comedy, action, and unexpected turns of events then you'll love to watch Vincenzo. This South Korean drama series has a well-written storyline that was executed with an amazing cast. I was invested in the show by the end of the first episode and it was hard to resist clicking the "next episode" button each time. These episodes aren't short and I watched them in several parts but that didn't stop me from enjoying the series. One episode is about 1 hour 30 minutes long so it's like you're watching a movie every time. Anyway, on to the summary.

Summary:
Vincenzo Cassano is a former Italian lawyer and consigliere for the Cassano mafia family. After the death of his adoptive father and head of the Cassano family, Don Fabio, Vincenzo leaves Italy and returns to Seoul. He is set on retrieving the secretly stashed 1.5 tons of gold (over $46.5 million U.S. dollars) he helped hide in the basement of a small business plaza. However, his plans are delayed when a real estate company under a powerful and corrupt company called Babel Group has illegally taken ownership of the building. Vincenzo goes head-to-head with Babel Group to reclaim the building and to recover his fortunes.Review:
I just want to start off by saying that Vincenzo is one of the best Korean dramas I have ever seen. I usually don't like to watch k-dramas because they drag out pointless scenes but with Vincenzo, it didn't take long for the characters to get straight to the point. The acting from the cast was spectacular and is what led me to write about it.The rivalry and secret scheming between Vincenzo and the antagonists of the show is the main plot. As you find out the dirty and clever ways each side resorts in doing to take down the other, their determination and attempt to provoke each other leaves the audience to find even the bad guys to be charming. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this show and you'll have a blast watching it too as you see different characters form alliances with either team Cassano Family or the evil Babel Group.
Hi Hannah, I actually saw this show on my recommendation and thought I would watch it after watching my current show. But after reading the summary it seems very interesting. And I would say I've been watching love kdrama recently so it would be nice to watch some action later. Thank you for the information.
ReplyDeleteAloha Hannah,
ReplyDeleteWhat an exciting and information blog site. You know, people do this for a living; you can actually get paid for something you do naturally well! I love how you're passioanate about every movie, and you always start with a hook. Your opinions are open, honest and non judgemental, and that's very cool! You've inspired me venture into movie hunting, especially Vincenzo. (lol) Mahalo for sharing, Rae Tang
